Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting Thanatos Bot ("the Bot") to your Discord server or using any of its features, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must remove the Bot from your server and cease using the service.

2. Description of Service

Thanatos is a Discord bot designed for Rust Console Edition server management. It provides features including but not limited to: kill feed, player economy (T-CRED), RCON control, automated events, clan system, casino, shop, and moderation tools.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Bot, in compliance with Discord's own Terms of Service. By using the Bot, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal authority to agree to these terms on behalf of your Discord server.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

• All servers receive a 14-day free trial upon first setup.
• Paid subscriptions are available at 15€/month per server.
• Subscriptions can also be purchased using T-CRED earned on the official guild (7 days = 12,000 T-CRED, 30 days = 42,000 T-CRED).
• Payments are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice.

5. T-CRED Virtual Currency

T-CRED is a virtual in-game currency with no real-world monetary value. T-CRED cannot be exchanged for real money, transferred outside the Bot ecosystem, or refunded. T-CRED balances may be reset in the event of a server wipe or account deletion.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Bot to harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or circumvent any Bot feature or security measure.
• Use the Bot in violation of Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
• Attempt to manipulate the economy, casino, or T-CRED system through exploits or bots.
• Share or expose RCON credentials obtained through the Bot to unauthorized parties.

7. RCON Access & Security

By providing your RCON credentials to the Bot, you acknowledge that the Bot will use them to send commands to your Rust server on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring your RCON credentials are kept confidential. We store RCON passwords encrypted and never log them in plaintext. We are not responsible for unauthorized access caused by credentials shared outside the Bot.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Bot may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from downtime.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any server or user from using the Bot, without notice, for violations of these Terms, abusive behavior, or any reason at our sole discretion. You may stop using the Bot at any time by removing it from your server.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Bot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Bot will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements. Use of the Bot is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Bot, including but not limited to loss of data, server downtime, or unauthorized RCON access.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Bot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will announce major changes in our Discord server.
